The music industry is notorious for having incidents of artist and producers making claims that they were underpaid for previous works.
You can watch just about every Behind the Music series, or any music artists biography, and see the countless stories of artist or producers claiming to have been taken advantage of financially.
This seems to be the case with two producers from Young Money Entertainment, the same company that?s home to Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and countless other acts.
According to a report by thisis50, both Andre ?Drew? Correa and Marcos ?Infamous? Rodriguez, were signed to Young Money Entertainment as producers.
The two producers, however claim that they were initially paid royalty fees, for previous works.
However, the two claim those royalty payments stopped, and when they requested payment, they were refused by Young Money Entertainment.
Thisis50 reports, that the two producers, filed separate federal lawsuits against Young Money Entertainment. We haven?t found any official statement by Young Money Entertainment.
However, we expect that label will issue a public statement in the near future.
